Weapon quirks are quirks than can be given to weapons to modify their behavior. Aspects that can be modified by weapon quirks include:

  • Weapon's price.
  • Weapon's durability.
  • Weapon's damage element.
  • Weapon's damage bonus.
  • Weapon's agility penalty.
  • Ability to inflict altered states.
  • Critical attack rate.
  • Epic critical attack rate.
  • Knock over rate.
  • Ignoring a percentage of its target resistance.
  • Gaining and losing extra quirks when certain conditions are met.

Positive weapon quirk pool

These are quirks that make the weapon essentially better. They can be applied to any weapon type.

  • Aerial: this weapon deals wind damage.
  • Ambusher: this weapons is ten times as likely to perform a critical attack when the player is undetected.
  • Aqueous: this weapon deals water damage.
  • Blessed: this weapon gains one extra positive weapon quirk each time it performs a successful critical attack.
  • Bloodthirsty: this weapon's damage bonus is increased by +0.25% for each enemy it kills.
  • Burning: this weapon inflicts a burn on a successful strike.
  • Defender: this weapon's damage bonus is increased by +0.05% for each attack it blocks.
  • Ductile: this weapon gains one extra random weapon quirk each time it performs a successful critical attack.
  • Durable: this weapon loses Durable and gains Damaged when blocking a critical attack.
  • Earthly: this weapon deals earth damage.
  • Effective: this weapon is twice as likely to perform a critical attack.
  • Elegant finish: this weapon's base price is increased by 25%.
  • Epic: this weapon is ten times as likely to perform an epic critical attack.
  • Ethereal: this weapon deals ethereal damage.
  • Evader: this weapon's agility penalty is reduced by -0.01% for each attack it blocks.
  • Famous: this weapon's base price is increased by 25 for each enemy it kills.
  • Fated: this weapon loses Fated and gains a random positive quirk when performing a critical attack.
  • Finisher: this weapon always performs a critical attack when the target's health is under 20% of its maximum capacity.
  • Flaming: this weapon deals fire damage.
  • Forgotten: this weapon loses Forgotten and gains a random quirk when performing a critical attack.
  • Freezing: this weapon deals ice damage.
  • Honorable: this weapon deals 50% less damage when then the target is unarmed.
  • Incisive: this weapon ignores 50% of the target's resistance.
  • Legendary: this weapon is twice as likely to perform an epic critical attack.
  • Lightweight: this weapon's agility penalty is reduced by -5%.
  • Malevolent: this weapon will always perform a critical attack when the target is unarmed.
  • Paralyzing: this weapon inflicts paralysis on a successful strike.
  • Penetrative: this weapon ignores 25% of the target's resistance.
  • Protector: this weapon is ten times as likely to knock over its target when blocking an attack.
  • Radiant: this weapon deals light damage.
  • Slayer: this weapon will always perform a critical attack when the target has more than 1000 remaining health points.
  • Strong: this weapon is twice as likely to knock over its target.
  • Thunderous: this weapon deals electric damage.
  • Unbreakable: this weapon never breaks.
  • Venomous: this weapon inflicts poison on a successful strike.
  • Very durable: this weapon loses Very durable and gains Durable when blocking a critical attack.
  • Well balanced: this weapon's attack bonus is increased by 10%.

These are quirks that make the weapon essentially worse. They can be applied to any weapon type.

Positive staff quirk pool

These are quirks that make the weapon essentially better. They are restricted to staves only.

Negative staff quirk pool

These are quirks that make the weapon essentially worse. They are restricted to staves only.

Unique quirks

These are quirks that are not to be used with randomly generated weapons. These are generally restricted to legendary weapons and can only be given to a weapon manually.
